Tere Derbez is an international visual artist and writer whose work integrates art, psychology, spirituality, and human consciousness.

In San Miguel de Allende and Scottsdale, Arizona, she maintains studios in both locations.

She is the founder of the El Ángel de Sofia Foundation and co-founder of Mujeres Latinas Unidas Foundation in Arizona.

She has received a Doctorate Honoris Causa for her artistic and cultural contribution from the Association of Women's Business - Leadership Award 2025 in Washington, D.C., as well as honors from the Manuel Toussaint Institute of Sacred Art, an Honorable Mention for The Miraculous Catch, and the San Miguel de Allende House of Culture for Intimate Place.
